This is Brazilian side Avaí Futebol Clube’s new third shirt.
As part of British supplier Umbro’s Nations 2022 range, the design celebrates the Argentine influence in Avaí’s Santa Catarina location, with the royal blue of the shirt - with elaborate patterning - trimmed in the sky blue and white of Argentina’s flag.
Said flag also appears on the upper back, with the neighbouring country sharing many elements of its identity with Avaí and Argentines living in and visiting the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A side’s vicinity in huge numbers.

Umbro’s branding is in white, the club crest in its standard form, while the shirt will be combined with complementing shorts and socks to form a matchday kit when called upon.
