Bayer 04 Leverkusen 2022-23 Castore Home Kit

Famous German Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen have unveiled their new Home shirt.

Produced by the apparently flourishing Castore, the 2022-23 design for the North Rhine-Westphalia-based side is in red with a horizontal stripes-cum-soundwaves effect to the trunk.

This addition is inspired by the “LEVERKUSEN ALLEZ” fan song, while this is overlaid with the full-coloured crest and the Castore chest logo, “Barmenia” print and, on the reverse, the “WERKSELF” print all in white.

The neck and the cuffs are in black and white and the kit will be completed with black shorts and red socks as first choice.

Pretty decent Leverkusen efforts from Castore. I like how they are trying various collars unlike some established firms. As a fledgling kit maker they are learning the ropes relatively speaking. I think in future they will surpass other firms like Hummel who have been mediocre at best this year.
