Billed as “Camiseta Aniversario Boca Juniors 23”, this is the Argentine giants’ new shirt to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their third Intercontinental Cup win.
Simpler than their standard adidas 2023-24 release, the classic yellow “Azul y Oro” (in effect, blue and yellow) look is embellished with supplier branding, trim from the Germans’ current template and an overlapping-V neck.
The crest is present and correct on the chest and the stars noting the dates of the de facto world championship wins - in 1977, 2000 and 2003 - are accompanied by Japanese script referring to the trio of wins as a nod to the latter two matches being in Japan.
