This “blackout” shirt from Nike is Sport Club Corinthians Paulista’s new away (“II”) shirt.
The design is part of an anti-racist endeavour from the politically engaged Brazilian club and Timão will debut the change element of their 2024 wardrobe as an anti-racist statement, the release representing a an endeavour to recognise black cultural heritage.
The black-on-black/tonal nature of the design will continue onto the shorts and socks that complete the kit and the player personalisation is bespoke and courtesy of designer Giulia Fagundes, featuring decoration inspired by Adinkras symbols of Ghanaian origin and delivered with Afrofuturism styling.
