Coventry City 2022-23 Hummel Home Kit

Coventry City unveiled their home kit for the 22/23 season.

The Sky Blues’ new Hummel home shirt is completely bespoke to Coventry City, after the Club has worked closely with Hummel on a kit design that celebrates the identity and history of Coventry City and the City of Coventry.

Hugely popular, the tramlines made famous in the 70s have returned on the front of the Sky Blues shirt for next season, either side of the Club crest.

25th May marks the 60th anniversary of the consecration of Coventry Cathedral in 1962 and the tramline includes the pattern from the stained-glass windows of the Cathedral.

Elsewhere, the stained-glass windows are also replicated inside the neck of the shirt, alongside the words ‘In Our Coventry Homes’.

The shirt features a classic round neck collar, designed for comfort and style, while the famous Hummel chevrons feature prominently on the sleeves.

Simply stunning. Coventry City and Hummel over the last 3 or 4 years have had such undeniably brilliant kits. This is a belter. From a non Coventry fan, i am without doubt slightly jealous of your kits recently

Coventry have the best kits, some of the Hummel efforts re inventing the retro shirts are masterful. This is fantastic! Wish I was a Coventry fan sometimes

That is a thing of beauty- I’m not a Coventry fan but that takes me back to the 70s - which was the best era for kits. They just need to bring out an all-chocolate away kit and they’ve cracked it ?

I had the original back in the day. And as you know the tramlines was on the front of the sorts.

Just a modern take on the original classic, a thumbs up for going the retro look. I like it.

An iconic design reborn with nice modern touches. It could have been way better if it came sponsorless as the front and back logos ruin it.
