Coventry City 2022-23 Hummel Third Kit

Coventry City have unveiled their new Third kit for the 22/23 season.

The shirt is completely bespoke to Coventry City, after the Club has worked closely with Hummel to create a design which celebrates the identity and history of Coventry City and the City of Coventry.

Like the home and away shirts, the kit features another iconic aspect of the world-famous Coventry Cathedral, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary of its consecration this year.

The third kit is in homage to the Baptistery Window at the Cathedral. Designed by John Piper, with the glassmaker Patrick Reyntiens, the window contains 198 brightly coloured glass panels and measures 26 metres high.

The new third kit replicates the style of the window on a black background, creating an eye-catching design which again is proudly and uniquely a Coventry City kit.

Inside the back of the shirt are the words ‘We’ve Got One To Spare’ – both in reference to the song sung by Sky Blues supporters about the City’s Cathedrals and this kit also being the Third Kit.

The shirt features a classic round neck collar, designed for comfort and style, while the famous Hummel chevrons feature prominently on the sleeves.

Coventry City’s sponsor BoyleSports is on the front of the shirt too and will be on all retail shirts, except for Junior and Infant sizes.
