This is the new Cruzeiro Esporte Clube Away shirt by adidas.
The famous Brazilian side’s primary-change release for 2024 is in white and features decoration inspired by the home city of Belo Horizonte’s Igreja de Sao Francisco de Assis (Church of Saint Francis of Assisi), also known as the Igreja da Pampulha.
This takes the form of the multi-tone blue neck, cuffs and trim and the overall look - completed in kit form with blue shorts and complementing socks - nods to the light provided by white Cruzeiro kits over 74 years (often in poorly lit stadia), the inspirational church and, in the view of Dante Alighieri no less, St Francis of Assisi himself.
