For the 2023 and 2024 Major League Soccer seasons, D.C. United has released their new away kit, The Cherry Blossom Kit, in collaboration with adidas.
The kit features a patterned design of branches across the front of the shirt, inspired by the cherry blossom trees in Washington D.C. which are gifted to the United States from Japan as a sign of friendship and unity.
The jersey also has two unique sign-off elements: a cherry blossom branch designed by D.C. United placed on the back collar, and the club's mantra, "All are Welcome, All are United," embossed within the black binding of the body of the shirt, available only on the authentic version of the kit.
