Hartford Athletic have released their 2023 home jersey, the "Capitol Kit," designed by Hummel.
The kit takes inspiration from the city's historic state capitol building, featuring a green body with a dotted spiral pattern that circles around the shirt to mirror the pattern found inside the capitol building's gold leaf dome.
The eight-point star that encircles the Hartford Athletic club crest is also inspired by the star found in the middle of the gold leaf dome. A blue wave on the waist of the jersey represents the Connecticut river, and the pattern within it is reminiscent of the wallpaper seen throughout the interior of the capitol building.

The back plate of the jersey features the Connecticut state flag, while the inside of the neck displays the state motto: “Qui Transtulit Sustinet” (He Who Transplanted Still Sustains).
