Hartlepool United 2022-23 Erreà Away Kit

This is the new Hartlepool United Away shirt by Erreà.

The 2022-23 season primary-change shirt for the EFL League Two side is in red, with black raglan sleeves and a chequerboard effect to the trunk.

Said chequerboard effect is partially filled, partially “ghost” printed, and largely just outlined around the crest.

White trim adds to the palette, and is also used on the partner branding, while the main sponsor logo introduces blue, the crest is converted to monochrome and the kit will be completed with black shorts and socks.

Shows a bit of imagination I suppose, but more of a cycling top design than a football one.

"This ****'s chess, it aint checkers!", genuinely was my first thought upon seeing this. A quote from Alonzo Harris in the superb film Training Day. I would rate the film 9/10 in my own personal rating system. And Eva Mendes is nude in it too, which is a bonus.
Incidentally I think this kit is relatively ****.

It looks like a crossword puzzle. Why is one single block in the middle randomly missing? Whats going on around the badge? Like they forgot to colour in those blocks?
I quite like it.
