Hellas Verona have revealed a special fourth shirt in partnership with Joma to mark the 40th anniversary of their historic 1984/85 Serie A title win, still the only top-flight title won by a club from a non-regional capital. The shirt is a tribute to the one worn in the decisive match against Atalanta on 12 May 1985, when Verona secured the Scudetto with a round to spare.
The kit features a yellow base with thin blue pinstripes, matching the colour scheme of the title-winning strip. It includes the club crest featuring the mastiff heads and the number “40” to commemorate the anniversary, with “1985–2025” and the Italian flag displayed below. The Joma logo is positioned on the right chest, and a tricolour flag is placed on the upper back. Inside the collar is a patch with a tribute to Roberto Puliero, bearing the words: “E LA CITTÀ ESPLOSE NEL SUO GRIDO PIÙ ALTO” (And the city exploded in its loudest shout).
This anniversary kit will be worn in Verona’s home match against Lecce in May 2025. It is limited to 1,985 individually numbered units and available in both short- and long-sleeved versions.
