Hull City 2022-23 Umbro Home Kit

Hull City have revealed their new Umbro home kit for the 22/23 Championship season.

Sponsored by principal partners Corendon Airlines, the shirt sees a return to the club's traditional black and amber stripes, with a white pinstripe border and tiger pattern.

The jersey also features micro eyelet front and back panels, interlock sleeves, stylised rib v neckline with rib cuffs, dropped back hem, ‘Tigers’ back neck sign-off, applique crest and stacked diamond embroidery.

Shorts are black with wide side panels and a contrast coloured middle panel, elasticated waistband, stacked embroidered diamond and woven applique crest.

Black socks include an amber calf hoop, white stacked diamond, ‘Tigers’ lettering, a cotton footbed, elasticated cuff and instep cool zone technology.

At first I thought it wasn’t great but it’s growing on me. Paired with black shorts and black socks I think it’s going to be one of Hull’s best home strips of the decade.

Okay its an improvement in the sense that it sees a return of the traditional stripes,but its a shame Umbro have to include the white pinstripes, its just unnecessary imho. Still pleased to see a return of the black and amber striped shirts as opposed to the gimicky supposed tiger patterns of late.
