This is the new Third shirt for the Republic of Ireland.

Marketed as a limited edition, the 2023-24 secondary-change release for the Irish, by Castore, sees a black base interrupted by the suggestion of green striping rising from the hem.

Trim is also in green, while the crest is in full colour, the supplier’s logo is in white and the kit is completed with black shorts and socks.

It contains green, it is distinct from the home kit, it bears some kind of a resemblance to 1994 away kit. International teams are not a place for extremities in graphic design. Possibly a little bit more of colour would not be a bad thing, considering the shorts are all black as well. In the end - decent job for me.

Not very interesting at all.
International team kits should be a design level above club shirts and look worthwhile enough to properly represent the country.
This one is dull and boring.
