Luton Town have unveiled their new home kit for the 2022/23 season.

Created alongside club supplier Umbro, Luton have gone back in time to take inspiration from the much-adored kit of 1989/90 to bring a new, unique design to life.

This season’s home shirt features a gradient diagonal design with Utilita front and centre as the main sponsor, complimented by navy shorts and orange socks to complete the stunning new look.

That is awful. I remember the template they are basing out on, and that was awful too. Taking inspiration from sh*te kits in years gone by shows a lack of innovation, judgement, and taste. This is a classic example of that.

Totally agree with the comment about the Home and Away designs being switched around. The shirts just look better suited that way to me.
The shirt is okay but it is a bit of a messy riff on the original to be considered better.

The away they’ve made looks like the kit they had when they were using ID cards and plastic pitches and wearing adidas .

  It’s a take on the 89-02 Umbro shirt. The shirt we were wearing shortly after winning the league cup and getting to another final.
