Manchester City 2022-23 Puma Away Kit

Manchester City have revealed their 2022/23 away kit by Puma, which pays tribute to one of the Club’s most successful eras.

The new strip, which features diagonal red and black stripes, is inspired by the shirt worn during a golden period in which we won the 1969 FA Cup and the 1970 League Cup and European Cup Winners’ Cup.

That kit, which was conceived by the legendary Malcolm Allison, featured red and black vertical stripes and earned iconic status after being worn in the final of all three of those memorable triumphs.

The new jersey arrives in two iterations. The Authentic jersey features ULTRAWEAVE performance fabric and dryCELL sweat-wicking technology, making the jersey the lightest and most comfortable PUMA has ever made.

The Replica version is made with 100% recycled polyester and equipped with dryCELL sweat-wicking technology.

Vertical would of been better. But I’ll take diagonal. City away should always be red/black stripes.

I’m not a city fan kinda have a affinity for utd but not a fan per se .. I have to say that’s a great kit and the best modelling of a kit since whenever …very northern and lacking bs .. glad they’ve gone for trad colours for their away kit rather than rave on Madchester commercial bs or purple of Qatar …
That Norwegian dude they got from Prussia Dortmund will be a legend…

If it had been conventional stripes it would have been much better, now it's like a barbers pole for the recently bereaved

When Malcolm Allison played for West Ham they got beat by AC Milan in a friendly. Allison was so impressed he brought them in as City's away kit. John Bond (also playing for WH) felt the same and changed the Bournemouth kit when he was manager...
