Manchester City 2022-23 Puma Third Kit

Manchester City and Puma have launched the 2022/23 Third kit in their first ever Metaverse kit launch.

The vibrant new strip, which celebrates Manchester’s creativity with its Fizzy Light and Parisian Night colour palette, was unveiled for the first time on Roblox, giving players the opportunity to explore and interact with the new kit in the PUMA and the Land of Games experience.

Featuring a hooped design which takes its inspiration from the Manchester Worker Bee, the new shirt also includes a special spray paint effect in tribute to the artistry for which the city is synonymous with.

The new Third kit physical jersey arrives in two iterations. The Authentic jersey features ULTRAWEAVE performance fabric and dryCELL sweat-wicking technology, making the jersey the lightest and most comfortable PUMA has ever made.

The Replica version is made with 100% recycled polyester and equipped with dryCELL sweat-wicking technology to keep you dry and comfortable throughout the 90 minutes and beyond. Both jerseys are made with 100% recycled materials, excluding the trims and decorations as a step toward a better future.

Absolutely terrible. What were the designer’s thinking?! Have they created a Dortmund shirt to make Haaland feel at home? Is a bad bad QPR shirt

Just what is 'Metaverse?' More marketing rubbish I would think.
I'm a city fan through and through but I'll leave this one well alone.

The 'Metaverse' is the parallel universe most kit designers live in these days. Where utter BS is created to describe kits which have nada to to do with tradition or relevance to the club/fan base its marketed at.

@Scott You are right-lots of recent designs all seem to have elements 'borrowed' from historical kits, mashing them together and hoping it comes across as new because the next generation haven't paid attention to what came before them.

@Scott Absolutely right. There was no hard sell and the strips sold themselves. Those designers you mention produced kits that meant something personal to the clubs now it's all based on a global selling point aimed at a casual buyer who may not even support any one particular team but want to buy for the sake of it.

@Scott Actually I think Nike ruined it for everyone. Look at the 90s PSG kits. They could fit in today.
