Manchester City 24/25 Puma Home Kit

Manchester City 24/25 Puma Home Kit

Manchester City, of the English Premier League, have unveiled their 2024-25-season Puma Home shirt.

The new primary design for the “Cityzens” is in “Team Light Blue” with “Marine Blue” trim that includes stylised renderings of Greater Manchester’s “0161” dialling code as - at least ostensibly - a reference to the club’s local origins, but it may also be nodding to a famous 6-1 victory over rivals Man United at Old Trafford.

Partner/sponsor branding appears in white, the crest is in full colour and the kit will be completed with white shorts and socks in the aforementioned “Marine Blue” (navy).

Poor by City’s usual standards. The 0161 thing is a bit of a reach for something to inspire a kit, would have been better off going without the contrived inspiration and having a simple sky blue kit.

Will be interesting to see how the Premier League charges pan out for City. 115 charges is a hefty amount. I can forsee titles being stripped and possibly even a relegation or two a la Juve.

The dialling code is a little bit of an odd thing to incorporate into a football shirt.
Looks ok but it's not really groundbreaking.

Now that is a beautiful shirt! A huge improvement on the 23/24 home shirt (which I wasn’t a fan of). The only downside for me is the phone area code thing. But it’s a fantastic effort overall from Puma so I can forgive that.
