Manchester City 2023 Puma Chinese New Year Shirt

Celebrating the beginning of a new year on the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar, 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit.

This Manchester City 2023 Chinese New Year Shirt by Puma pays tribute to the year of the Rabbit with a moon-inspired all-over print and golden details that mark the successful mission of China’s lunar rover, the Jade Rabbit in 2013.

The Blazing Blue and Matte PUMA Gold jersey also features a unique sign-off on the neckline combining the Manchester City logo with bespoke interwoven rabbits.

A Chinese New year shirt. Really? What's next Easter? Passover? Buddhist New Year? Honestly, what a cash grab.

Of course being Chinese NY it should be red anyway, which makes this even sillier. If United/Liverpool/Notts Forest did it, it would make more sense.

This is just daft.

Gorgeous kit, and a Masterpiece should use as 3rd kit to replace the neon Yellow and Black

The design is pretty nice, even though it doesn't really provide anything Man City related other than a badge. The rabbits on the back are cute.

For those crapping on the Chinese New Year celebration, it's a big deal for over one billion people, and an easy cash grab for the club. Of course they're going to make it.

As tenuous a reason for a shirt as one celebrating me having a dump.
