Millwall 24/25 Erreà Away Kit

Millwall 24/25 Erreà Away Kit

This is the new Millwall Football Club (FC) 24-25 Away shirt from Erreà.

In tones of green and black, the only true contrast to the 2024-25 change release’s patterned base - featuring a “MW” abbreviation of the London-based English EFL Championship side’s name - is the logo of the main sponsor, largely in white.

The kit is completed with matching green shorts and socks.

I can see why people think ‘wtf’ when seeing this kit in online photos, but in real life it is actually a great looking kit imo.

For a MyGuava-shirt it's great.
But apparantly it is a Millwall shirt??

That sponsor looks out of kilter ...or maybe as has been said, the badge should be a more visible colour ... suprised to see miwaw in green ..

Tbf, Millwall have used green a fair bit since the 1990s. And makes sense really, given how many locals are descended from Irish immigrants attracted to the London docklands in the Victorian era; as demonstrated by the number of London born Irish internationals the club has fielded over the years.

As for the ‘miwaw’ pronunciation, I blame the casting in Eastenders for that. The BBC hire middle-class actors that wrongly equate the London accent with the Essex one. Hence ‘Riccckkeeee’. However, the East End accent is clipped. Millwall is pronounced Mill Wall by proper east and SE Londoners. See Danny Baker. When I lived up north, I noticed northerners referred to us as Mealwool.
