Motherwell 2023-24 Macron Away Kit

Motherwell 2023-24 Macron Away Kit

Motherwell FC have revealed their new away kit for the 2023-24 season.

This year's away colours are a modern twist on a classic, taking inspiration from the iconic home kit worn in the 70s by Motherwell legends Joe Wark and Willie Pettigrew, featuring a claret sash from shoulder to hip.

The new away kit features a striking sash design in amber and white, with hints of claret, running from the right shoulder to the bottom left of the top. It also includes a claret button-down collar and a unique cuff design in claret, white, and amber.

Proud of their heritage, the kit displays the year of the club's birth on the back. The shorts will remain the same for both the home and away kits, and Macron continues as the manufacturer, with the new front-of-shirt sponsor, G4 claims, placed underneath the badge.

There's little to fault here. The placement of the sponsor is gracious.

Motherwell colours are nice, and Macron do on occasion get it right. Like here. Great kit, hope they wear it more than rhey need to

Instant classic. That's how a sashed kit should be done. Contrast and compare with Nike's awful attempt with internazionale this year: the latter is a souless half-assed effort, as if designed by poorly developed AI.

Man City did a similar thing with the sponsor logo on a sash design, kit designers should think more about this

Very distinctive with the sash. I also like the idea that the sponsor has been left off the front of the shirt and placed in a more discreet position. The shirt however would have scored higher if they had placed a single gold sash on the shirt instead of the multiple lines running diagonal.
