Newcastle United 2023-24 Castore Home Kit

Newcastle United 2023-23 Castore Home Kit

Newcastle United and Castore have unveiled their new home kit for the 2023/24 season.

The kit pays homage to the club's rich history with a collar inspired by the 1980s era, while staying true to tradition with the iconic black and white stripes that represent the Magpies. This design celebrates the club's past successes as they embark on a new chapter under head coach Eddie Howe.

The jersey features a split side hem for improved mobility, laser-cut holes in the underarms for enhanced breathability, and a dropped and shaped hem for added style. The distinctive Newcastle United club crest is woven on the left side of the chest, showcasing the team's emblem.

Newcastle United showcases its new sponsor, "Sela," prominently on the front of its shirts as the club eagerly returns to the UEFA Champions League for the 2023/24 season.

The shorts complement the jersey with contrasting panels and a side seam split, allowing for a greater range of movement. The woven club crest is proudly displayed on the right thigh. The socks complete the kit, featuring a cushioned heel and footbed for comfort, and proudly showcasing 'NUFC' on the front, along with Castore branding on the calf.

Proper nice looking Newcastle shirt but sponsors as per usual for the most part ruin it.

Just looking at the Sela website, it feels WELL dodgy. Owned by the Saudi Public Investment Fund (obvs), the company is pretty sketchy on what it does and who its target audience is. I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if the whole thing is exposed as a way around FFP.

Real 83/84 Umbro vibes. Swap the sponsor for the classic Newcastle Brewery and it would be almost identical.
