The 2023-24-season Away shirt for French Ligue 1 giants Olympique de Marseille has been unveiled.
Produced by Puma, the new royal-blue - or “PUMA Team Royal-Clyde Royal” - release is decorated with a topography-like effect in white that is marketed as referencing nautical charts and local fishermen toiling in the Mediterranean Sea on which Marseille, or “Massilia” in Roman times, sits.
The crest is entirely converted to white - matching the German supplier’s cat logos and the wordmark of sponsor CMA CGM - with the only injection of another colour coming in the golden “MARE NOSTRUM” (“OUR SEA”) Latin script on the upper back and the kit is completed with matching blue shorts and socks.
