Racing Club de Lens, of France’s Ligue 1, have unveiled a new “Sainte-Barbe” shirt for 2024-25.
The latest current season release from Puma is in black and gold and pays tribute to Saint Barbara due to her being the patron saint of miners and there being a tradition of mining locally and in the history of the club.
On the front of the trunk, there is tonal patterning including mining-related imagery and this is overlaid with gold detail - the throwback crest, the German supplier’s “Cat” logo and the “Auchan” sponsor wordmark - matching the detailing and trim elsewhere, the kit will be completed with complementing shorts and socks and there is a goalkeeper version of the design that sees the colours reversed.
