Reading FC has unveiled their new home kit for the 2023-24 season, featuring a unique twist on the traditional blue and white hoops, designed by Macron.
The latest 'Home' shirt retains the classic pattern of horizontal blue and white stripes, but with a stylish white knitted polo neck adorned with a thin blue line. The central white stripe and the ones at the bottom of the shirt, both front and back, feature dye-sub graphic motifs portraying various views of the town's skyline, highlighting some of Reading's most iconic landmarks. Some of these graphics are also incorporated on the sleeves.
Notably, the inside label is personalised with the club's colours, the Reading FC logo, the Macron emblem, and the words "Designed in Bologna," certifying that the garment is conceived, designed, and produced at Macron's headquarters in Bologna, Italy.

Additionally, the neck label displays multi-colour stripes, similar to the ones seen on the sleeves of the Royals' 'Home' shirt from the previous season. These stripes, known as 'warming stripes,' were developed by climate scientist Ed Hawkins in collaboration with Reading University to visually represent the town's rising temperatures caused by global warming in recent years.
