Real Betis Balompié, the Seville-based Spanish La Liga side, have unveiled this Forever Green shirt for the end of the 2023-24 season.

The new environmentally focused Hummel creation is in familiar green with tonal striping but lower down on the design there is a cracking effect that nods to drought as the release graduates to beige.

This look continues onto the beige shorts and socks - representing dry ground - that complete a kit that is being launched to raise awareness of the importance of responsible use of water against the backdrop of climate change.

Simply horrible as a kit. Apart from that, it signals that another wave of hypocrisy is coming (after the pink and the rainbow phases). This is an insult to common sense. And it is made for profit (needless to say).

Agreed. And sadly, your comment might be misconstrued as being against pink and rainbow movements, but from what I gather you're against companies jumping on board for profits.

If racism and bigotry were trendy, you can bet companies and clubs will be selling that next.

The shirt looks nice... but again a kit manufacturer preaches about environmental issues while simultaneously pumping out thousands of pieces of clothing that nobody asked for. This completely goes against what they are campaigning for

The shorts and socks are part of the theme, but look rubbish imho. I applaud anyone who is trying to bring awareness of environmental issues. However, this kit is reported as just for the end of the season, therefore using resources that didn't need to be used. Even if the material is from recycled products it is a waste of resources!!!!! As a standalone, the shirt design is ok, but nothing more. I like Hummel kits, generally, but if you want to be green make all your replica kits from recycled materials.
