Rotherham United 2022-23 Puma Home Kit

Rotherham United have unveiled their new 22/23 Home Kit by Puma.

The club have collaborated with The Graphic Bomb to assist with the design of a strip which – like the stadium itself which it has been designed to celebrate – is iconic and eye-catching.

Once again working closely with Puma Teamwear, this season’s ‘primary’ strip has a classy feel to it, with the club welcoming back a black trim to accompany the red and white for the first time since the late 90s.

Also modernised and featured on the shirt is the brand new logo of their main primary shirt sponsors, IPM Group, whose branding proudly sits atop the bespoke illustrations provided to commemorate 10 years at the stadium.

The images which have been sublimated into the design of the front of the shirt have been hand-drawn by The Graphic Bomb and have been expertly weaved into this season's kit design by Puma Teamwear to provide this ‘commemorative’ effort with an extra special touch.

This is more like it. An actual well thought out shirt and design, simple and straightforward and does what it is meant to do. It suits the club very well and looks like a good choice.

Reminiscent of the Artic Monkeys lyric:
And yeah, I'd love to tell you all my problems
You're not from New York City, you're from Rotherham

It's down to the site where we built the stadium. The grade 2 listed building in the carpark built fire hydrants that we're sent over to new York.

No they didn’t, the fire hydrant story is a load of rubbish that never actually happened. The area where the stadium is was historically called New York, it’s as simple as that.
