Sport Club do Recife, of Brazil’s Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, have unveiled a third shirt which is part of supplier Umbro’s “Nations 2022” range.
Nodding to the Dutch influence in Brazil, particularly Sport’s home of Pernambuco through the governorship of Johan Maurits van Nassau-Siegen, the design is in a deep blue with orange decoration - colours often worn by the Netherlands.
Echoing the pioneering effect the the nation of the Oranje had in Brazilian life, Sport’s early success in football holds legendary status locally and the Leão do Norte see their identity present and correct, albeit colour-converted, in the club crest overlaid on the patterned base.

All the supplier branding is in the mentioned orange, with Dutch flag detailing and a “Nederland” print on the upper back, and the shirt will be combined with shorts and socks that complement its look should it be put into match action in kit form.
