Newly crowned Portuguese Primeira Liga champions Sporting Clube de Portugal - “Sporting Lisbon” - have unveiled their 2024-25-season Home shirt.
The new first-choice Nike design for the “Verde e brancos” sees the famous green-and-white-horizontal-stripes look given company in the form of extra black stripes, black shoulders and sleeves and a largely black back.
While black is often used as a tertiary colour on the primary release, largely for trim, this increased prominence owes to a tribute to club legend Francisco Stromp and the shirt - with its entirely white-and-green crest (gold/yellow-less) - has been debuted with black shorts and socks.
