Sunderland 2022-23 Nike Home Kit

Sunderland AFC have revealed their new home kit for the 2022-23 Sky Bet Championship season.

Manufactured by Nike, the bespoke home shirt features a throwback take on the Lads’ traditional red and white stripes, with the kit echoing the one worn during the 2000-02 campaigns.

Stripes feature on the front and back of the shirt, which is paired with black shorts and red socks, and proudly displays the branding of the club’s new principal partner, Spreadex Sports.

It’s okay, but it’s just the Umbro shirt from 10 years ago with a Nike logo on it.

Where are the aspects that make it look new or updated?
It is a bad piece of teamwear kit that lacks a real identity.

Awful sponsor & Sunderland badge aside, how is this kit bespoke?! It's a 'straight from the catalogue' striped shirt with black trim.
To be fair, if it weren't for the terrible sponsor, it would be really smart! The sooner they ban betting company shirt deals, the better
