Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, who play in America’s USL Championship, have debuted this “10th season celebration” [sic] shirt.
The silverish metallic look of the sleeves, neck and - particularly - the crest on this new 2024 design from Capelli Sport nods to tin being the material of a tenth anniversary, and the topographically styled embellishment on the trunk references the mountainous nature of the El Paso County city the Switchbacks call home.
The shirt, commemorating the side’s participation in a tenth season of competitive action since their 2014 foundation, was worn with white shorts and socks to form a kit on its first showing.
