Venezia FC, beloved of kit aficionados, have unveiled their 2022-23 Third shirt.

Kappa-branded, the new secondary-change design for the Italian Serie B side is in gold - as a nod to the stylings of both Venetian art and architecture through history - and is minimally embellished in black.

Said black is used for the collar, crest and Kappa’s “Omini” logos, with Venezia’s recognisable green and orange peeping out from the neck.

Also in black is the “CITTÀ DI VENEZIA” print, while the kit will be completed with shorts and socks which complement the striking look of the shirt.

This really is pushing into the luxury leisure shirt market, you’d hardly know it was a football shirt, what with there being no betting firm logo! How many other clubs would go for the coffee, croissants and morning paper photo shoot too? If Venezia can keep up this standard, hats off to them.

It's a no-brainer for this tiny club. They are never going to be about the football, so why not just reflect the style/trendiness of Venice itself and its populace. Could be a Versace blouse she is modelling instead lol.

Gold kits are usually set aside for teams that have won something the previous season, whereas Venezia got relegated to Serie B lol. Still a hot kit tho

Can you give us a list of teams who’ve worn gold I’m not sure there are many and few top clubs as I recall .

I know Everton and a copper kit they used in euro in the mid late 80s by LCS

Didn’t Blackburn have in too and Crewe and Walsall
