Werder Bremen 2022 Umbro “How deep is your love” Jersey

SV Werder Bremen and Umbro revealed this special edition #howdeepisyourlove football shirt.

Over 300 Green-Whites have shared their tattoos and stories for the “How deep is your love?” campaign, launched by SV Werder Bremen and kit supplier Umbro. The result of those stories? A unique kit – by fans, for fans.

39 tattoos from a total of 328 submissions have been included in the jersey’s design, including some tattoos from Werder players.

The basis of the HIDYL kit is Werder’s current third jersey, made by kit provider Umbro, which has had the unique print added to it in a complex process. The print was designed by Dutch artist Floor Wessling.

SV Werder Bremen’s men’s and women’s first teams will wear this special kit in each of their next fixtures. The men will wear it in their game against Erzgebirge Aue, whilst the women will don the “HDIYL” kit against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.

Sponsors need to get a grip and consider the overall aesthetic of the kit. 100% the white box is not needed but was forced on by the sponsor
