SV Werder Bremen and hummel have released a special edition Legend Jersey to honour Diego’s farewell from professional football.
Inspired by Werder’s 2006/07 kit, which marked Diego’s first season at the club, the design features a green and white base with orange detailing. The Werder crest with a championship star is centrally placed on the chest, accompanied by the hummel logo and shoulder chevrons. The main sponsor, MATTHÄI, sits prominently across the front.
Diego’s name and iconic number 10 are printed on the back, alongside “Werder Bremen.” The phrase “Lebenslang grün-weiß” is positioned under the collar, while green side stripes display a tonal Diego inscription with stars as a final tribute to the Brazilian playmaker.
