West Bromwich Albion 2022-23 Puma Home Kit

West Bromwich Albion have unveiled their new home kit for the 22/23 season.

The Puma shirt - which was created by the fans, for the fans – takes inspiration from the famous knitted kit worn by club legends Tony Brown, Cyrille Regis, Bryan Robson and others in the late 1970s.

Exciting features include iconic italic ‘WBA’ lettering in place of the club crest, while the traditional blue-and-white stripes incorporate jagged edges, as seen on the original.

A group of supporters from the Albion Assembly formed a sub-committee in 2021 to design the kit, linking up with Puma and the Baggies’ retail team to make their dream home shirt.

Great kit for WBA. Puma making some half decent stuff for a change, that's a shock!

A traditional looking shirt with smart overtones and one that gives WBA back an identity after years of so-so kits.

It’s a great kit. A little bit confused by the marketing bumph though. Far more similar to the mid 80s kit than the late 70s ones.

A modern take on from those classic WBA shirts from mid 70’s - Always liked the away shirt, with the green and yellow stripes.

Great kit. I'd like to see it with retro socks that had two blue bands just above the ankle.
