West Ham United 2022-23 Umbro Away Kit

West Ham United and Umbro have revealed their new Away Kit for the 22/23 season.

The Away Kit takes inspiration from the Hammers’ roots deep in the heart of the capital’s vibrant East End.

Its Black body is complemented by Sleeve accents of White, Pink and Sky Blue, whose patterns are inspired by the 100-year-old ship slipway at Thames Ironworks, which was uncovered in the construction of the recently-opened Elizabeth line, and give a fresh look to the Kits which Hammers everywhere will wear on their travels this season.

So it took them a year to design a jazzy sleeve end and put it on a plain black kit. So many lazy designs this year

Don’t think Umbro have been sat designing West Ham’s away kit for the last year L. They have a good 40 - 50 teams across different sports they have to make multiple kits for each year. Bit harsh

  @Scott Not saying it’s great but I haven’t seen an Umbro kit that looks like this this season. Plus templates have always been a thing, a lot of 70s/80s kits were similar even across different brands. I’d argue there’s probably more unique kits now, though some clubs do still just get a template recolour.

  Yeah, that's the problem. Generic, mass-produced templates which are prioritised in terms of how 'big' the client is.
