AFC Wimbledon 2022-23 Hummel Home Kit

AFC Wimbledon have unveiled their new 22/23 home kit which pays homage to the club’s rich and unique history.

The all-new, bespoke hummel kit is a nod to the strip the likes of Joe Sheerin and Matt Everard took to the field in 2002, which itself was a tribute to the design worn during the club’s heroic FA Cup run of 1974/75.

This is the club's first hummel kit since they last wore the famous chevrons at their former Plough Lane home and it will be worn for one season only.

Huge anti-climax. They were going on about being back with Hummel like in the 80s as if a 'special relationship' had been renewed. Then they delayed the release date. For this? Wow...
Bang average, been a poor year for Hummel.
Thought it may have went 80s retro. But I predict they will bring out a 'reproduction' of their 80s kits, at least one of them, for the retro market. They did that with Southampton.

I think they will release a reproduction of the 1988-90 Wimbledon fc shirt with the full arm chevrons, like they do in the Norwich City shop retro section. Since one year they had Carlsberg as sponsor then changed to Samsung I would imagine the classic 1988 Carlsberg shirt will be reproduced. Makes financial sense.

It's a site for discussing football kits. If it bores you you are on the wrong site.

A club coming from non league to establishing themselves in the old first division within a few years. Producing quality players and winning the FA Cup against Liverpool, all with crowds of less than 10K They have a great history. The kit on the other hand is dog****e

They had a bad history they were new to the football league in the 70s got a great manager .. then they collapsed moved to Milton Keynes .. then a 2nd version of Wimbledon came about relatively recently … they have no history that’s why they have no fans …no foundation ..a plastic club
