AFC Wimbledon has announced a new partnership with kit manufacturer hummel.
The Danish company last supplied their kit following the FA Cup win in 1988 - and continued to do so until 1991.
That partnership will be resurrected from next season onwards when hummel’s distinctive trademarks - its iconic chevrons and bumblebee - will feature across all the kit and sportswear ranges.

As the club’s official kit supplier, hummel have worked with us to design and develop match, training and travel wear across all men’s, women’s and academy teams, along with a comprehensive retail offering.
Bal Srai, Wimbledon's Revenue and Operations Manager, said: "The relationship with Hummel is already off to a flying start and we look forward to releasing three new strips this summer which will include a women's cut in the new home and away shirt.
"This is a partnership that will grow stronger and stronger and we know already we are in good hands!"
Allan Vad Nielsen, hummel CEO, added: “AFC Wimbledon is a club with whom we share a true football heritage and when the chance came to reconnect with them after more than 30 years apart, it was an opportunity that we couldn’t resist.
“The club’s strong community values are something we like to identify with in terms of our own operations.
”We’re very much looking forward to a successful partnership for seasons to come, and we’ll work extremely hard to ensure that players, staff and most importantly the supporters, wear our hummel chevrons with pride.”
