FC Barcelona have announced a brand new shirt sponsorship deal with the computing company Intel.
As per the terms of the agreement, starting in the match this weekend against Villarreal, the famous Intel logo - of the 'Intel Inside' catchphrase - will be printed, naturally, on the inside of the Barça shirts, and be visible, should a scoring player facilitate this, during goal celebrations. This method of advertising - which is entirely at the players' discretion - recalls a similar approach from Getafe several years ago.

The deal, which also has goals of enchancing Barça's technological standing, was announced via the modelling of the new version shirts by Carles Puyol and Gerard Piqué.
Training and development methods and the supporter experience are key target areas for the implentation of Intel technology at the club and, to celebrate the signing of the agreement, Intel will be donating five latest generation laptop computers to the FC Barcelona Foundation over the next five matches.
