Adidas plans to work closely with the Royal Belgian Football Association to leverage the growing international appeal of the team. Highly regarded as an up-and-coming nation in world football, Belgium recently rose to 5th in the FIFA World Rankings after reaching the quarter finals at the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.
The Belgian Red Devils will wear the new kits for the first time on September 4th when the team plays a friendly match against Australia.

Adidas already possesses close links with Belgian football, as the Belgian Red Devils achieved its biggest successes together, such as the fourth place in the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico and the second place of UEFA EURO 1980 in Italy.

Adidas stated they did not have enough time to design a new shirt as this takes 20 months to do so, therefore they used an existing plain shirt which can be bought at € 17 without the badge, it is a scam by Adidas as they are selling it for € 85 with a badge on it

I'm getting so bored with the fact that European national football is a carve-up between Adidas, Nike and Puma. I just see the same tired templates again and again. Belgium were doing something different with Burrda, but that's over now. Sad.

I really liked the burrda kit and am happy to have the WC 2014 home shirt.
anyway, it was just a matter of time before one of the big names take over a successful team, it has happened before and will happen again.

i'm glad to see them leave Burrda, just for the sake of quality alone. Hopefully Adidas will put some effort into their next offering for Belgium--they've become such a good side they deserve something distinctive.

Adidas should have done the 3 stripes like the 1990 WC jersey, yellow stripes with red and black inbetween.

Where is the yellow and black? Belgium have one of the most distinctive colour schemes in world football and Adidas have ignored it.
