As well as unveiling a new crest, Bolton Wanderers have announced that the QuickQuid logo will not feature on the team's shirts next season.
The sponsorship deal had been due to commence in 2013-14 but is being replaced by local sustainable energy company, FibrLec, whose logo also incorporates that of the University of Bolton.
Fans and politicians had opposed the initial deal with QuickQuid - a payday loan company - due to perceived ethical issues with the organisation's industry.

Whilst Bolton chairman Phil Gartside maintains the club's research into the company demonstrated "they were a regulated and responsible lender" he stressed the importance of the relationship with the club's local community and was keen emphasise the replacement deal further strengthens Bolton Wanderers' partnership with the town's university.
The news follows hot on the heels of a statement from Everton FC, confirming their new crest will be reviewed before the 2014-15 season - with full fan consultation - and most likely scrapped, after widespread opposition to the rebrand. AS Roma's supporters are also campaigning for their newly unveiled logo to be abandoned.
