The partnership, which began in 2006, has continued to grow during a period of continued success for Chelsea. The Blues have won major honours both domestically and in Europe including being the first London club to win the UEFA Champions League. We have also won the Premier League, four FA Cups, the League Cup and last season, the UEFA Europa League.

This year adidas worked with the club to launch the iconic 'It's blue, what else matters' campaign - the most successful club home kit launch ever. Designed to preview the new kit for the 2013/14 season in an unexpected way, the campaign featured several players dipped head to toe in blue paint.

Chief Executive Ron Gourlay said: 'We are delighted to extend our partnership until 2023 after a highly successful first seven seasons. Both organisations share the same ethos and ambition and the new deal reaffirms adidas' belief in the club's status in world football.'

Herbert Hainer, Chief Executive Officer of adidas AG, added: 'Both adidas and Chelsea FC have a long and proud heritage in football and we are delighted to continue our working relationship with one of Europe's elite football clubs. We look forward to many more years of success, working closely with the club on product, marketing and grassroots initiatives in the UK and around the globe.'

Aah I totally see what you mean now, not totally thought that through but in my head while making it was an older Liverpool strip and that did have slightly different fabric for the parts like that, so I think if it was to be real then yeah, those parts would be made of a thinner material.

I will hopefully post soon a kit in this template which has the stripes in a completely different colour and I think it looks pretty cool, be nice to see what reaction that gets.

Yeah, agree with you there, wouldn't that myself.

On the fabrics, I meant that I would like to see the kit actually being made, since it looks like you've added a different fabric on the side than in the base of the kit. Maybe you've just tought of it as a print in a different colour

like it, love the collar and the small french flag detail

only thing im not keen on is the lines 'pointing' at the sponsor

do you do these in illustrator or photoshop?

Thanks, nice to get some sensible comments for once.

I thought the same at first but by reducing them I thought it made it look a little too similar to a past Nike template. They also get in the way of larger sponsor logos where they overlap, so they may be changed in the future.

To answer your other question, all my stuff is made in Photoshop.

Well OK I guess it is, but I won't be distributing it to anyone else to change colours as I really don't like seeing the place get flooded with the same looking kits in different colours.

What do you mean when you said would like to see it with different fabrics?

    Thanks again.

I drew it myself, it is not a template.

well, curswine, it is a template whether you like it or not, only you made it yourself. you could give sprongebob the psd with the design and he could change the colours, so technically it's a template

like the kit btw. would be interesting to see it made with the different fabrics. agree with steevo about the stipes on the bottom though. could make them a bit smaller
