Announced by way of the KC Stadium's big screen 24 minutes into Hull City's defeat at home to Arsenal - a reference to Umbro's establishment in 1924 - the deal marks a reprise of the partnership which ran from 2007 to 2010, including the side's promotion to the Premier League and first season in that modern top flight division.
Ex-Hull City legend, the Brazilian Geovanni - scorer of the club’s first ever Premier League goal and a famous strike against Arsenal in 2008 - attended the game to celebrate the news.
Paul Nugent of Umbro also confirmed that Hull will be provided with "a set of unique kits".
