Adidas may lose its contract with the French national football team to rival Nike after its contract with the team expires in 2010, Wirtschafts Woche reported, citing industry sources. Both Adidas and Nike declined to comment on the matter, the magazine said.
The Fédération Française de Football (FFF) and adidas last year extended their partnership agreement in 2001 until 2010. Adidas and the French Federation have enjoyed an extremely successful partnership for well over 30 years.
