JD sports are really pushing it with their fifth sponsorship deal after signing Charlton Athletic, Dundee United, Bournemouth and Luton Town earlier.
Oldham Athletic have also launched a new three-year kit sponsorship deal with the UK's leading sports fashion retailer, JD Sports. As kit manufacturers and sponsors, the arrangement will see one of JD's exclusive youth fashion brands, Carbrini Sportswear emblazoned across all home, away and replica tops and shorts.
The agreement marks a return to Boundary Park for JD Sports. The company first sponsored Latics during the 1992 - 93 season when Athletic became one of the founding teams of the Premier League and went on to support them for another three years.
Oldham Athletic's chief executive, Alan Hardy said:
"We are delighted to renew acquaintances with JD Sports once again after a successful period of sponsorship with them back in the 1990's which saw their name on Latics' shirts when we played Manchester United at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-final in 1994.
"This new three-year sponsorship will also see Latics wearing Carbrini-branded kit, and their valued support is very much appreciated at what has been a difficult time for the club.
"We are keen to work closely with JD Sports to develop a range of Latics leisurewear with the Carbrini brand name."
Barry Bown, Chief Executive of JD Sports commented: "We are very pleased to be back at Boundary Park sponsoring Oldham Athletic for the forthcoming season.
"The deal is a significant step in developing the JD Sports and Carbrini Sportswear brands and we look forward to working with the club to make the partnership a success."
