Swansea City and adidas revealed a new kit partnership extension which will see adidas continue to provide kit for the Swans.

The extension builds on the great success the Swans have had since the existing deal began in 2011. The club has made a big impact in the Barclays Premier League; finishing ninth in the 2012/13 season and impressing all with the exciting brand of football played in the club's centenary year.

Swansea Chairman Huw Jenkins said: “We are very happy to be renewing our kit sponsorship with adidas - they are an excellent partner for Swansea City Football Club and we feel the quality of kit they provide across all areas of the club from the first team through to the coaching staff is second to none.

"We look forward to many more successful years as partners.”

Neil Venables, for adidas (UK) Ltd, added: “We are immensely proud of our on-going association with Swansea City Football Club and are delighted to be signing this new deal.

"The club has experienced an exciting few years whilst playing in our kit, impressing football fans across the world and we look forward to building on that success in the years to come as committed supporters of the club and their fans."

I wouldn't be surprised if the new Swansea kit is just like the Wales away kit, but with black trim instead of red.

If anyone thinks Swansea will get anything but teamwear for next season is deluded! It will be same old Adidas. :zzz

The Centenary kits was superb (the "Real" style home and the away with the Welsh colours). This year's isn't great but I'm looking forward to seeing what Adidas does for them next year.

Noooo. Too bad, I own their 10/11 and 07/08 home kits. Those were great, but since 2011 Swansea wears some really ugly teamwear kits (the exception being the centenary kit).
