The Uruguayan Football Association (AUF) has announced that Nike will be providing the kit for Uruguay's senior team at the upcoming Conmebol Copa América in the United States.
This decision comes after an open selection process initiated on March 15, as detailed in an AUF statement.
Unlike previous sponsorships, the AUF will directly purchase the kits from Nike, due to the timing of the tournament intersecting with the expiry of Uruguay's deal with Puma, which spanned from 2006 to 2023.

Earlier this year, Uruguay's team donned a shirt in the Pre-Olympic Tournament honouring the 1924 Paris Olympic gold medalists. Additionally, in matches against Euskadi and Ivory Coast, they wore special edition kits supporting Women's Month and UNICEF to highlight the effects of violence against women on children and teenagers.
The Copa América is scheduled from June 20 to July 14, with Uruguay in Group C alongside Bolivia, Panama, and the host nation, the United States. Uruguay's first match is against Panama on June 23 at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium.
