Ireland 1992 Away shirt by Adidas believed to have been issued to Moran for the 1992 US Cup match against Portugal played at Foxboro Stadium, Massachusetts on the 7th June '92.

This was the inaugural edition of the tournament which would run annually except for '94 and '98 until 2000. The United States were the hosts with Italy and Portugal the other participants. The kits used in the tournament featured numbers on the front of the shirts which had not been seen on any Ireland jersey ever before.

The Boys in Green were still wearing the same design that had famously been used at Italia 90 but now with the new FAI crest which would last until 2004. Jack Charlton's men wore their home kit in defeats against USA and Italy before the away kit was given a run out for the final encounter with Portugal where the side ended on a high with a 2-0 victory secured by goals from Staunton and Coyne. Moran played the full match against the USA but was then an unused substitute in the Italy and Portugal games. The defender earned 71 caps in total for his country between 1980-94 bagging 6 international goals and appearing at 2 major tournaments.

Player issue features - Correct player size flock print professionally heat pressed, flock FAI crest and Adidas logo, replica version not available with new FAI crest, long sleeved version not sold commercially, comes from the players own personal collection - a signed letter verifying this will be provided
