Holland 1980-81 player shirt by Adidas believed to have been match worn by Snelders for the U-18 team between 1980-81.
Snelders made his FC Twente debut in 1980 and was called up by the Oranje to keep goal in some of the UEFA European Under-18 Championship qualification matches.
The keeper later graduated to the U-21 team for whom he made 8 appearances before which he played at the 1983 FIFA World Youth Championship in Mexico where the side reached the Quarter Finals. In 1988 the FC Twente star was called-up to play two Olympic qualification games and his one and only full international appearance came a year later against the Soviet Union, though he did also go to the 1994 World Cup too later in his career.
