Finland made the long trip to South America for two matches against Bolivia and one with Brazil. The first match at Estadio Hernando Siles, La Paz on the 30th November ended in a comfortable 3-0 victory for the hosts but the Scandanavians showed more resolve in the second game played at Estadio Ramon Tahuichi Aguilera, Santa Cruz on the 4th December securing a 2-2 draw.
