Holland 1988 player shirt by Adidas believed to have been match worn by Snelders in an Olympic Games Qualification match in 1988.
Snelders played against Portugal in March and Iceland in April in the Oranje's campaign for a place at the Summer Olympics to be held in Seoul later this year.
The FC Twente stopper kept a clean sheet in both games but the side would not do enough to make it to South Korea unfortunately. This classic Adidas design would be worn famously by van Breukelen at the European Championships this year where Holland famously triumphed. Snelders made only one full international appearance for his country and that came in 1989 against the Soviet Union though he did also go to the 1994 World Cup too later in his career.
